Prof. Nafiz Bilsel was born in Bornova, Izmir in 08.10.1950. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, in 1973. He became a surgeon of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, in 1979. He passed the associate professorship examination of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 1985. In 1995, he became the professor of the Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the same faculty.
